I made the permanent shift to life on the road almost 10 yeas ago! Since then I have been following my heart (and often my stomach) to people, places, and cultures that speak to me. I live for the everyday tasks that become daunting feats in new countries. One time I had to google "where to buy dirt near me" and crossed my fingers something would come up (it did!)

But I have been challenged in ways that I could never have predicted. I have done a lot of learning and (even more) unlearning and have felt many, many feels. Through my experiences I’ve felt shock, guilt, anger, sadness, hopelessness, fear, frustration, and resentment - just to name a few.

And on the other side of those feelings?

Humility, appreciation, wonder, astonishment, hope, empathy, and pure joy have come from better understanding and connecting to this big, beautiful, wild world we live in.

This lifestyle we've chosen is so exciting and fulfilling. But that doesn't mean it's not REALLY freaking hard.
